HDB houses more than 80% of Singapore’s resident population spread across 24 towns and 3 estates and is continually exploring new technologies to make its towns and estates more liveable, efficient, sustainable, and safe for its residents. You will be joining a dynamic team that is exploring new technologies to improve energy efficiency in cooling HDB public housing. Working with a team of engineers and technology managers, you will be involved in strategizing, planning and managing the deployment of sustainable/green solutions identified and ensure works are carried out and completed within the committed time frame, and milestones/targets are met.

Your primary responsibilities will include: • Coordinating with stakeholders, which include the HDB team, public agencies, and external parties (e.g. Town Councils, consultants, contractors, researchers, etc.) • Managing of tenders (including drafting of tender specifications and documents) for the deployment of the technology • Project management on the deployment of cooling measures for new developments • Collating and providing updates on progress of works, expenditure as well as tracking of KPIs • Communication plans – Planning and disseminating information to relevant stakeholders to facilitate upfront planning and downstream implementation • Conducting research to further refine the deployment of cooling solutions and testbed of new solutions

• Background in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical or Civil) • Relevant experience in project management in built environment sector (e.g. building construction, estate management) • Good inter-personal, communication, writing and presentation skills • Self-motivated, able to work independently and be an effective team player • Good analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract as a start.
