What the role is
What you will be working on
• Brainstorm ideas and develop storyboards for video projects
• Propose and produce high quality video content for social media and digital channels, as well as for broadcast channels when required.
• Provide start-to-end video coverage of PMO events, including technical set-ups, facilitate filming session, and post-production editing within the intended timeframe.
• Operate filming, professional audio and lighting equipment during video productions
• Staff Political Office Holder on official events, including overseas trips.
• Procure and maintain professional video equipment for the team, manage inventory, and stay updated on the latest technology to enhance production quality.
• Experience operating live streaming equipment would be an advantage
What we are looking for
• Background in video production or related fields.
• Minimally 3 years’ experience in video production including conceptualisation, filming and editing; Strong video portfolio is a must.
• Proficient in operating DSLR cameras and/or cinematic cameras, professional lighting and audio equipment.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects) and MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with online video editing apps such as CapCut and Canva would be an advantage.
• Good communication and writing skills (fluency in a mother tongue would be an advantage). Knowledge of local / international news would be an added advantage
• Well-versed in social media platforms and online culture / behaviour
• Experience in photography, graphic design, communications and website management systems would be an advantage.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Able to work on shifts and irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Able to travel for work at short notice.
• Good character and personal integrity.
• An independent and a team player – can function independently and collaborate well with different teams throughout the entire production process
