As Manager/ Senior Manager, SPED Sector Development in the Special Educational Needs Division, you will be part of the team involved in enhancing the quality, accessibility and affordability of Special Education (SPED). You will be required to interact with key stakeholders in the SPED sector and work closely with other divisions in MOE.

• Coordinate and deliver cross-cutting support for implementation in the areas of Professional Development as well as the monitoring and evaluation of SPED syllabuses • Analyse and review data to support policy reviews, planning and programme evaluation • Distill critical issues and sense-make from a wide range of information to propose effective policy solutions • Drive alignment on policy positions and approaches among stakeholders, including mobilising citizens and stakeholder to co-create and co-deliver solutions • Provide secretariat support for meetings, functional team projects and initiatives This is an individual contributor role. • Possess good communication and writing skills to crystalise core issues • Possess working knowledge of statistical software, programming languages and data analytics tools • Ability to develop domain knowledge in SPED to collaborate and/ or co-create policy solutions with professionals • Ability to connect issues with larger systems and identify inter-dependencies across issues, domains or agencies as well as having grounded perspectives of implementation considerations • An independent, pro-active and resourceful individual with the ability to work well independently and in a team In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the close of the application window.
