What the role is
What you will be working on
• Plan and implement maintenance activities on High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) electrical equipment at water treatment plant to ensure its reliability in supporting operational requirements, and compliance with relevant statutory requirements
• Troubleshoot any equipment and system malfunctions and plan for corrective actions
• Plan, design and call tenders related to electrical equipment for equipment replacement, upgrading, and system enhancement capex projects
• Manage and implement contracts related to electrical equipment to ensure work performed by contractors are executed according to objectives and within budget
• Manage electrical equipment assets and spares according to requirements
What we are looking for
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 – 5 years of experience in maintenance of HT/LT equipment and able to read and interpret electrical single line drawings.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and driven
• Work well independently and also a good team player
• Able to work effectively under pressure and make critical operational and maintenance decisions.
Work Location – Candidate may be deployed to Tuas South Desalination Plant, Choa Chu Kang Waterworks, Woodleigh Waterworks or Lower Seletar Waterworks
