What the role is

MCCY Strategic Planning and Finance Division (SPFD) is developing a Programme Evaluation (PE) Playbook, for Ministry divisions and agencies under our purview to (i) set and monitor meaningful performance measures and (ii) monitor and review the deployment of our resources to ensure that our programmes will help us meet our objectives of building social capital, inspiring the Singapore spirit and making Singapore home. The PE Playbook will comprise a: (i) Programme evaluation framework which defines a set of common outcomes, indicators and reporting milestones for key programmes; (ii) Assessment framework to guide the deployment of resources, prioritising programmes that are able to deliver on desired outcomes; and (iii) Dashboard for monitoring programme performance over time to assist in progress reporting and decision-making.

What you will be working on

The intern will work closely with SPFD officers to develop the PE Playbook, and support the conception and development of the programme monitoring dashboard. Key deliverables are to: a. Develop the first iteration of the PE Playbook b. Develop a programme monitoring dashboard Through the project, you will be able to work closely with officers across MCCY, and better understand the breadth of MCCY’s interests and domains. You will also develop an understanding of setting and monitoring measures of success for a range of programme types across domains.

What we are looking for

• Data analytics capabilities • Data visualisation capabilities (proficiency with Tableau dashboards preferred) • Strong writing, communications and interpersonal skills • Good project management capabilities Application Details: We are seeking interns who can commit on a full-time basis.
