What the role is
What you will be working on
You will undertake the procurement functions in NEA in one or a few of the following areas:
- Review quotation and tender documents for publication to ensure compliance with NEA’s procurement policy and guidelines
- Review quotation and tender evaluation reports to ensure value for money, fairness, transparency and compliance with NEA’s procurement policies and guidelines
- Improve outreach, conduct training and facilitate dialogue among the procurement community in NEA
- Undertake studies of supply markets and proactively source and engage suppliers
- Advise and guide departments in their daily purchases of goods and services, based on the procurement rules and guidelines
What we are looking for
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in government procurement or supply chain work
- Familiar with Instruction Manual (IM) on Procurement, GeBIZ system and GeBIZ Management Console (GMC)
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power-point
- Performance driven, adaptable and a good team player
- Good IT and data analytical skills
- You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
- As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
