Senior Officer / Officer Conservation : Pulau Ubin
What the role is
What you will be working on
This role primarily involves working in an outdoor environment at Pulau Ubin, where you will be responsible for monitoring and following up on habitat enhancement and species recovery projects. This includes conducting biodiversity monitoring, working with animals and preparing reports on findings. You will also be tasked to plan and implement outreach programmes for the island. In addition, you will also support the Pulau Ubin team in various aspects of operations including weekend duty, conducting inspections, and engaging in public engagement activities.
What we are looking for
Diploma in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Marine Science, Horticulture or related discipline
Possess good writing, interpersonal and communication skills
An organised, creative and resourceful team player who is able to work independently
Enjoy working in an outdoor environment and has a keen interest in nature conservation
Comfortable working with animals
Willing to work on alternate weekends and after office hours based on roster
