[Temp - 6 months + 6 months] Analyst (Data Office), SPR

[Key Responsibilities]: As part of the Data Engineering team within PSD’s Data Office, you will be supporting the Team Lead in the collection, verification, and publication of the public service workforce data. In addition, you will be supporting the Team Lead in tracking of daily processing records for one of our system’s automation workflow. The roles and responsibilities include: • Communicate with agencies to address questions on survey requirements, and to ensure timely submission of survey returns. • Conduct checks on data submissions to identify data error and work with agencies to correct them accordingly. • Support the preparation of publications using data collected. • Compile and housekeep operational data tracking lists • Report and follow up on erroneous data flagged in the tracking lists for investigation by vendor and/or source system stakeholders

[Competencies Required]: • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Meticulous, analytical, comfortable working with numbers and data. • Good written and spoken communications skills. • General digital savviness: Comfortable with using IT tools independently. • Thinking clearly and making sound judgement- able to analyse different sources of information and problem solve. • Experience with Python would be helpful.
