We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our cybersecurity team. This role requires strong background in data science, machine learning, and cybersecurity, with expertise in ETL processes and/or adversarial machine learning. The successful candidate will lead a small team to promulgate technical guidance, develop proof-of-concepts, engage both internal and external stakeholders to uplift the level of AI security in Singapore.

Responsibilities
• Solutions architect for secure data lake and ETL pipelines
• Research and implement adversarial machine learning techniques to test and improve model robustness
• Create and evaluate defence strategies against adversarial threats on AI systems
• Engage stakeholders in industry and agencies for requirements gathering and consultation
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity, data science, and adversarial machine learning
What we are looking for
Requirements
• Degree in Data Science/ AI, Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber/Information Security, or related field
• Professional certifications in cybersecurity (e.g. OSCP, CISSP, CEH) are a plus
• At least 5+ years of experience in data science, preferably with exposure to cybersecurity applications
• Clear understanding of information security principles and cyber technology landscape
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and optimising ETL pipelines for big data processing
• Experience with adversarial machine learning techniques and defences
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google) or big data technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent presentation and technical writing skills
• Ability to engage stakeholders and communicate complex concepts effectively
• Experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder consultation
