What the role is

LEGAL COUNSEL, PUBLIC TRANSPORT (CONSTRUCTION & INFRASTRUCTURE)

What you will be working on

You will join a dynamic division that provides legal services in respect of significant international and domestic public transport infrastructure projects under LTA particularly in respect of construction and maintenance. You will have exposure to international rail contracts and negotiations, and on the domestic front you will have the opportunity to contribute to the formulation of innovative, environmental sustainable and eco-friendly solutions that have impact on Singapore’s public transport infrastructure landscape.

This role incorporates an extensive reach of work with support in legal services covering all aspects of each project. You will be providing legal advice on regulatory compliance, draft and review contracts, liaise with external legal counsel, other government agencies and stakeholders, collaborate with project teams to identify and litigate legal risks and liabilities to meet the fast-paced development of our projects.

Remuneration will be commensurate with relevant experience.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Law (LLB)
• Prior experience in advisory and drafting matters. Experience in construction contracts and construction-related disputes will be an advantage.
• Public sector or in-house experience welcome, but not necessary
• Those without working experience are welcome to apply
