What the role is

The candidate will be a key member of MPA's Content and Marketing Department, overseeing Maritime Singapore's branding, content production, and communications efforts to amplify and build a strong MPA and Maritime Singapore identity. The role involves strategising, developing, and producing content and marketing materials to promote Singapore as a global hub port and an international maritime centre.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities:

1. Annual and Sustainability Reporting:

   - Develop concepts and produce the annual report and sustainability report.

   - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collate and present relevant information and data.

   - Oversee procurement and management of vendors for editing, design, and production.

2. Build Sustainability Culture:

   - Advance MPA's sustainability and ESG agenda.

   - Work with the leadership team and internal stakeholders on change management and engagement efforts.

   - Stay abreast of global sustainability trends and best practices in the maritime industry.

   - Drive and promote awareness of decarbonisation and ESG efforts in the maritime sector.

3. Digital Content Management & Production:

   - Manage and optimise MPA's corporate website and social media platforms.

   - Develop and implement a content strategy aligned with organisational goals.

   - Monitor and report on digital performance metrics.

   - Produce diverse marketing assets including videos, presentation slides, and other collaterals.

   - Oversee content production from conceptualisation to post-production.

   - Ensure brand consistency across all materials

What we are looking for

• Experience:

  - Preferably has 3-4 years of professional experience in corporate sustainability reporting and familiar with global sustainability benchmarking mechanisms (e.g., GRI).

  - Strong command of English language and exceptional writing skills.

  - Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as Sitefinity

  - Proficiency in digital content strategy, including SEO writing.

  - Experience with Whole-of-Government Applications (WOGAA) and Google Analytics.

  - Proficient in design and video software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Capcut, Premiere Pro).

  - Familiar with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude AI, MidJourney etc

  - Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  - Keen eye for storytelling and ability to craft compelling narratives.

  - Understanding of maritime industry trends and challenges is a plus.
