Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and refine the mid-to-long term strategy for the Open Innovation Platform (OIP), aligning with organisational/national priorities, local market and global digital trends
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential partnerships
- Identify and evaluate new programmes and/or services to enhance - OIP value proposition
- Utilise data-driven analysis to inform strategic planning, addressing business needs and translating insights into actionable innovation initiatives
Industry Engagement and Project Management:
- Onboard innovation challenge owners (i.e. corporates) and collaborate with them to refine their problem statements and business requirements for launch on the OIP
- Manage the complete project lifecycle of innovation challenges from launch to completion, effectively handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Leverage grants as a strategic tool to support innovation challenges as needed to drive sector adoption
- Develop account management plans to strengthen stakeholder relationships (e.g., corporates, industry government agencies, trade associations) to achieve OIP objectives through mutually beneficial collaborations
- Follow up on inbound leads to convert corporates looking to drive digital innovation within their organisations, through OIP and/or PIXEL corporate innovation centre
Requirements:
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in industry-facing/corporate-facing roles, digital innovation, business strategy, or related fields
- For the Senior Manager role, at least 1 year of experience or more in people management and leading teams
- Familiarity with the innovation ecosystem (e.g., corporate innovation roles, technology accelerators, incubators) is a plus
- Experience in roles involving strategic planning is advantageous
- Strong ability to adapt to changes, thinking out of box and armed with a challenger mindset
- Strong strategic, analytical, and creative thinking skills, coupled with advanced problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
