In tandem with economic and population growth, Singapore’s water demand is expected to almost double by 2065, with the bulk of the increase attributable to the non-domestic sector. Improving water efficiency for the non-domestic sector is key to ensuring long term water sustainability in Singapore.
PUB’s Water Demand Management Non-Domestic team plays an important role in managing water demand by the non-domestic sectors. The team actively engages industrial and commercial customers to identify water saving opportunities and drive water conservation efforts, through both mandatory measures and facilitative approaches. To support companies to adopt water conservation measures, the team also administers the Water Efficiency Fund (WEF), which provides funding support to companies to carry out projects to enhance water efficiency.

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Engage non-domestic customers to implement water efficiency projects
• Manage Water Efficiency Fund applications for water efficiency projects
• Process Water Efficiency Management Plan (WEMP) submissions by non-domestic large water users
• Analyse data trends for water efficiency benchmarking exercises and develop suitable roadmaps to increase water efficiency for non-domestic sectors
• Work with internal and external stakeholders on various water conservation measures
• Address customer feedback and queries pertaining to water conservation
• Carry out analysis of water consumption patterns and insights for non-domestic sectors, and investigations for suspected leaks in non-domestic sectors
• Manage contracts and delivery of projects
What we are looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines
• Relevant industry experience in facility management, sustainable building design/ management, cooling tower operations or water /wastewater treatment is preferred
• Organised and meticulous
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
