What the role is
What you will be working on
• Evaluate the effectiveness (including shortcomings) of ongoing pilot projects related to smart solutions for non-revenue water analyses, and thereafter formulate and carry out the next steps for full-scale implementation. In the latter regard, you will be driving the project through its entire life cycle, from requirements gathering phase with the users and technology partners, to the calling of contract, and thereafter system implementation phase, and so on.
• Manage maintenance matters relating to the non-revenue water analysis platform (after its deployment phase), which include reviewing of monthly reports; working with counterparts from our IT Division to ensure system meets all audit and cybersecurity requirements; assisting with the day-to-day feedback from users; etc.
• Establish a robust Meter Data Management process with the objective of enhancing the meter data accuracy to support analytics and downstream decision-making. As part of works, you will be expected to review and standardize the meter data structure for better consistency across all meter data sources, and implement a clear and automated workflow for data pre-processing.
• Refine and update meter data management workflow to accommodate new data sources or changes over time for greater optimization
• Thereafter, you will also help to analyse our meter datasets and develop algorithms to extract actionable insights to support decision-making, as well as identify areas for further optimization.
What we are looking for
1. Degree in Engineering
2. Candidates with relevant experience are preferred.
3. Good in using computer software and dealing with numbers and calculations, preferably with coding knowledge or interest to learn coding.
4. Good in analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
5. Self-motivated and driven. Work well independently and a good team player
