What the role is
What you will be working on
Deliver comprehensive lessons and fulfil all duties associated with teaching full-time and part-time courses in Pastry and Baking.
Collaborate with the teaching team to design, update, and review course materials and curriculum, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and evolving industry standards.
Provide constructive guidance and timely feedback to students on course content, assignments, and assessments.
Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
Actively participate in departmental discussions and work closely with the teaching team on collaborative projects and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with the institution’s teaching standards, policies, and academic guidelines.
What we are looking for
At least three years of relevant professional experience in pastry and baking, preferably in supervisory roles within kitchens, bakeries, or patisseries.
Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms and multimedia tools for delivering interactive lessons.
A strong commitment to staying current with industry trends, including sustainability practices, dietary advancements, and emerging culinary technologies.
Exceptional communication skills, proven expertise in recipe development, and the ability to create innovative baking and pastry solutions.
