Description of Division - Family Support Division (FSP):
We focus on providing a continuum of support for mainstream and early-risk families in the areas of marriage, divorce and family counselling support.
As part of the programme design team at FSP, you will develop, implement, manage, and review services to support couples and families who faced stressors and greater challenges in their marriage and family life journey. The programme design team also participates in policy discussions led by the policy teams from other MSF divisions and government agencies to provide views on operational angle. On a day-today basis, you will partner divisions in MSF, the Family Justice Courts, the Syariah Court and social service agencies (SSAs) to develop solutions in the best interest of these families.

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Develop, implement and review programmes and services to support stressed, divorcing and divorced families
• Communicate programme and service requirements to the MSF-appointed SSAs operating the Strengthening Families Programme@Family Service Centres (FAM@FSCs)
• Work with FAM@FSCs and partners in improving the quality of programmes and services
• Incorporate programme data, and partners’ and users’ feedback in service reviews
• Provide input to policy discussions on divorce support programmes and services for families
• Handle and draft replies to members of public on queries, feedback and appeals
• Provide secretariat support for internal and external meetings with partners/stakeholders
What we are looking for
• Tertiary qualifications, preferably in social work, psychology, sociology or related discipline
• Able to work, communicate and engage well with internal and external stakeholders
• A keen attitude to adopt client and child centricity in supporting families who face challenges before, during and after a divorce
• Experience in research and programme development, implementation and evaluation will be helpful
• Strong project management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem solving and system thinking skills
• Both an independent worker and a team player who is willing to commit to a fast paced albeit fulfilling work
• Familiarity in managing, analysing and visualising data using tools such as excel or tableau will be advantageous
