What the role is
What you will be working on
• Analyse daily operational data and make decisions pertaining to process control so that process units are operated at their optimum level product meets required quality specifications
• Co-ordinate with Maintenance/Contractors on routine maintenance, upgrading, and improvement works without any interruption of process operation so that the maximum design capacity is consistently available.
• Carrying out feasibility studies on process changes that would lead to optimal resource utilisation
• Ensure adequate staffing and optimal utilization of manpower to meet operational targets.
• Formulate and carry out training of new/junior operations staffs, including identifying training needs
• Carry out budgetary planning for the section, to prepare a detailed allocation of the appropriation at the start of each financial year and monitoring it on a monthly basis
• Approve NTW/PTWs, and ensure that RAs and Safe Work Procedures are in place and are in compliance
• Handle all staff matters ranging from welfare to discipline.
What we are looking for
• Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineer.
• At least 5 years of experience of engineering
