What the role is
What you will be working on
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic Traffic and Road Operations Group. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and renewing Road and Traffic assets to ensure a safe environment for road users. You will contribute to the planning for upgrading and renewal of Road & Traffic Assets and be involved in contract procurement and management. A key aspect of your role will be collaborating with stakeholders to manage the implementation of suitable ICT application systems.
• Plan for renewal and upgrading of road and traffic assets
• Engage with key stakeholders to gather and define business requirements
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
• Identify and manage implementation risks in the area of ICT application and interfaces
• Recommend and implement mitigating measures to address potential issues
• Ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, statutory regulations, and maintenance needs
• Ensure adherence to budget, specifications, and timeline
• Drive and manage contract procurement based on renewal requirements
• Manage contracts related to asset renewal

What we are looking for
• Knowledge in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering or relevant disciplines.
• Experience in managing a full system development and implementation lifecycle.
• Proficient in cybersecurity technologies and ICT security controls in operating systems and networks will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and perform night works when required.
• Familiarity with ICT applications in infrastructure management
