What the role is

Deputy Manager, Finance Digital Services

What you will be working on

You will be part of the Strategic Financial Management Sub-Group committed to provide forward-looking services to internal and external stakeholders. As part of our continuous efforts to enhance our operational capabilities, we are seeking a talented individual to join our dedicated team responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Finance ERP system.

Role Overview:
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring the seamless integration and efficient functioning of our SAP ERP system. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and leading projects to implement enhancements and upgrades and timely delivery of the projects. You will also be expected to provide first level support to the users and ensure prompt resolution to the issues. You may also be involved in new system implementation and other new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Gather and analyze business requirements and identify suitable system or non-system solutions, considering the specific needs of various Finance departments
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement solutions that align with business objectives and adhere to best practices.
• Develop project plans and timelines and review the costs for system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations and/or new system implementation
• Lead and manage end-to-end enhancement and upgrade lifecycles, including planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to provide training and support for system usage and functionalities.
• Manage vendors to ensure they meet contractual obligations and deliver good customer experience.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure the system remains at the forefront of efficiency and innovation.
• Research the technology landscape and other governments’ policies addressing the digital divide and identify emerging trends and best practices.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in business analysis or project management in SAP ERP system implementation and maintenance projects.
• Good working knowledge of various finance functions such as Asset Accounting, Accounts Receivables and/or Financial Reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to gather and analyse complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Good project management skills, including planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication with the ability to pitch ideas and influence.
• A driven and motivated personality with an inquisitive mind.
• Experience in other digital tools such as Python, Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools will have an advantage.
• As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment
