Development Services Group (DSG) is responsible for the planning, facilitation and implementation of infrastructural, environmental improvement and building projects for selected areas and underground spaces.

Internship Job Scope: 1) Project Management & Site Supervision for ongoing Infrastructure Project: Oversee daily project operations, coordinate contractors and consultants, monitor progress, ensure quality and safety standards, and manage resources to keep the infrastructure project on track. 2) Contract Management: Manage project contracts, verify completed works, process payments, handle variations, and ensure contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle. 3) Digitalisation of Existing Work Processes by using AI, automation and construction Building Information Modelling tools: Implement and leverage digital technologies such as BIM, AI, and automation to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and improve efficiency in construction processes. Learning Outcomes: Project Execution and Management: Gain comprehensive experience in civil engineering project lifecycle, from planning to completion, including site supervision, quality control, and stakeholder management. Technical Proficiency: Develop and apply technical skills in interpreting engineering drawings, using industry-standard software, and understanding construction processes, while adapting to new technologies and innovations in the field. Contract and Financial Management: Understand the fundamentals of contract administration, cost estimation, and financial aspects of engineering projects, including work verification and payment processes. Professional Skills Development: Enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills within a professional engineering environment, while adhering to ethical standards and safety protocols. - Open to polytechnic or undergraduates who are currently pursuing Civil Engineering, or related fields. - Able to commit for internship period for minimum 5-months.
