[What the role is]
You will be a member of the Sector Development Section which account manages key airport ground handling and air cargo firms, supporting companies to identify opportunities and manage challenges across a variety of issues including land/facilities/infrastructure, manpower, capability development, sustainability and innovation.
[What you will be working on]
You will work with industry stakeholders such as the airport operator, airlines, ground handlers, air logistics players and technology solution partners, to drive outcomes in airside sustainability such as the transition to cleaner energy airside vehicles, sector development including new investment and expansion plans, as well as ground handling innovations and productivity.
You will evaluate and administer grant and funding applications to support such sector transformation projects, as well as project-manage initiatives and efforts driven by CAAS to deliver value to the broader air transport ecosystem.
This role is an operations-policy role. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated self-starter, who has strong interpersonal skills to forge consensus among different stakeholders, detail-oriented and comfortable with data and drawing insights to support policy development, as well as conviction and energy to push boundaries and drive change.

• Trained in any discipline with at least 2 years of related working experience in account management, industry development, business development or related fields. Fresh graduates with keen interest in aviation and air transport policy may also be considered.
• Self-motivated, driven, resourceful, a good team player and able to multi-task
• Detailed and meticulous, and a proficient writer
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to persuade and build consensus among stakeholders
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills to develop and execute transformation programmes
Your appointment designation will be commensurate with your experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure in subsequent renewal.
