The HTxAI Products team is committed to empower our Home Team Department (HTD)'s flagship projects through the seamless integration of AI technologies. This is a hybrid role that combines the responsibilities of a Scrum Master and a Business Analyst. The Scrum Master / Business Analyst will facilitate product development undertaken by agile product development teams, ensuring coherence with Scrum principles and practices while leveraging on business analysis skills to assist the Product Manager with gathering and analysing user needs, identify problem statements, and ideation of solutions. This role is crucial in fostering collaboration within product teams to drive the delivery of high-quality products that meet business objectives. The hybrid nature of this role demands strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities, as well as a deep understanding of agile methodologies and digital product development processes. This individual must balance the demands of both roles effectively to drive successful product outcomes.

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Provide guidance and coaching to the development team on agile principles, practices, and processes.
• Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand the product backlog and ensuring that it is ready for sprints.
• Analyse and document user needs and work with the Product Manager to translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and support the Product Manager in ensuring alignment between organisational strategy, user needs, and engineering effort.
• Analyse existing business processes, identify pain points and areas for improvement, and communicate solutions to stakeholders.
• Coordinate Scrum ceremonies, working with stakeholders to ensure that the delivered product meets business requirements and expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact product delivery or business outcomes.
• Support the Product Manager in analysing data to support decision-making, identifying trends, and providing insights for product growth or enhancements.
• Support the Product Manager in preparing and maintaining product documentation, which includes Product Requirements Documentation and User Manuals.
• Foster collaboration within the product team to ensure a shared understanding of project goals and priorities.
• Track development progress, measure product team performance, and provide regular reports on development status, velocity, and other relevant metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within products team and the organisation, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and deliver greater value.
• Support the implementation of changes, ensuring that stakeholders are informed, engaged, and prepared for the impact of new features or enhancements.
• Work with the Product Manager to ensure that deliverables meet quality standards, conducting reviews and inspections when required.
What we are looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in product management or a related field.
• Experienced with using agile development methodologies in delivering digital products.
• Familiar with AI-driven technologies, particularly in the domains of data science, visual and audio analytics, or sensors & IoT technology.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and align with organisational objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional product teams.
• Comfortable with working independently to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
