What the role is

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore’s central bank and integrated financial regulator.

What you will be working on

You will join a team of trained security personnel to perform the following security functions at MAS:

Physical protection of personnel, buildings and assets
Preventing and responding to security threats
Enforcing security and fire safety regulatio

Your key duties include:

Monitor Security Operations/ Currency Operations and daily security activities in the Security Command Centre
Respond to security threats and manage Security Incidents
Facilitate departments’ requests and queries related to security
Enforce existing measures on the security and safety
Conduct preliminary investigation of security incident
Maintain effective monitoring and control of the Access Control System, Surveillance System, for example include basic trouble shooting and remedy actions
Prepare the daily security report
Assist in the review and automation security processes
Support business continuity plan and contingency plans
Participate in emergency preparedness exercises.
Perform any other duties as directed by Supervisor

What we are looking for

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good attitude, diligent and willing to learn
Physically fit
Candidates who has attended the Police Licensing and Regulatory Department Licence certification courses with a Security Supervisor (SS) or Senior Security Officer (SSO) level or equivalent security certification /experience.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in supervisory role in security command centre position or equivalent set-up
Applicants should be Singapore Citizens
