What the role is
What you will be working on
As a Lecturer, you will:
Develop and deliver curriculum (including online courses) and assessments for full-time and part-time courses for students and adult learners.
Supervise student projects and internships with industry partners.
Counsel and mentor students to support their learning and personal development, provide education and career guidance, and coach them for competitions.
Undertake academic-related administration and committee work, support outreach activities and study trips, and ad-hoc projects that support the school’s mission.
Plan, lead, manage and develop industry projects.
What we are looking for
At least 3 years of relevant industry experience; teaching or training experience is a plus.
A passionate educator with a nurturing mindset and strong rapport with learners.
A team player with strong presentation and communication skills
Creative in using digital tools and tech-enabled strategies to enhance student engagement.
Confident in teaching international trade, global business operations, and related topics in both PET and CET programmes
Proficient in MS Office and Power BI; knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
Industry certifications (e.g. Procurement, Business Analytics, Six Sigma, Sustainability) are a bonus.
A team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple projects independently.
Having access to industry partners/networks will be an advantage as you may be required to spearhead new development initiatives and industry collaborations.
Candidate who has undertaken one or more following functional roles in international trade and business operations and have a good understanding of how integration of these functions can add value to international businesses will be advantageous: Procurement/ Sourcing/ Planning/ Operations/ Logistics/ Trade Management/ Marketing/ Business Development
