What the role is
What you will be working on
As a lecturer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop, prepare and update teaching materials as well as associated assessments and conduct lectures, tutorials and workshops.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and actively network with industry professionals to collaborate on student projects and enhance learning opportunities.
Set and mark assessments related to the module(s) assigned and keep records of student attendance and grades.
Support student learning and development through student consultations and mentoring for both PET and CET learners
Be required to take on committee portfolio and ad-hoc projects that support the school’s mission.
Perform academic and administrative duties
Lead student overseas trips
What we are looking for
At least 3 years’ relevant experience for Lecturer position. Prior teaching experience will be an advantage.
A nurturing mindset with passion for working with young adults and mature learners.
Ability to use innovative teaching strategies to motivate learners.
Competent to plan, develop and teach international trade and business operations - related modules.
Strong IT skills and proficiency in MS Office applications including Power BI. Proficiency in the use of SAP and/or Cargowise will be an advantage.
Industry certification in Procurement, Business Analytics, Project Management, Six Sigma and/or Sustainability will be advantageous.
Ability to manage and support multiple projects independently as well as in a team setting.
