What the role is
What you will be working on
Project Title: Contribute to ongoing development of the National Transition Plan
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to understand global climate-related developments.
• Engage in horizon scanning to anticipate future trends and challenges in climate mitigation and adaptation.
• Assist in consolidating Singapore's national approach to climate change, focusing on both mitigation and adaptation strategies.
• Participate in planning and executing engagement sessions with businesses to co-create detailed transition plans.
• Aid in the development of a communications plan that clearly articulates the nation's climate change signposts and roadmap.
• Support the team in crafting a long-term view of climate transition, informing government strategies for resource allocation and priority setting.
• Min. 12 weeks (12-24 weeks preferred)

• Research Proficiency: Skilled at conducting thorough research using various authoritative sources, such as IEA and IPCC reports, to support the development and refine of sectoral transition plans.

• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate findings clearly.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Comfortable incorporating views from multiple agency stakeholders.
