What the role is: The Workplace Management team oversees and manages the Ministry’s estates by creating a conducive, safe, secure and healthy work environment so that MOM can achieve its business outcomes. You will be a part of a dynamic and highly driven team driving excellence in workplace and facilities management and promoting safety and sustainability culture within the Ministry.

What you will be working on: You will manage or be part of a team that: • Manage the Ministry’s workplaces by creating a conducive, safe and green/sustainable work environment • Develop strategies and implement initiatives to promote a safe and green/sustainable culture within the Ministry • Enhance Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards of stakeholders and manage the safety performance of term contractors • Track and monitor performance of contractors, and redesign contracts and processes to nurture and nudge behaviours to achieve service excellence • Research and evaluate emerging trends in the facilities management technology field and implement automation to enhance efficiencies and delight user experience • Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies, to raise awareness of facilities-related programmes and achieve corporate outcomes • Oversee any renovations, refurbishments and building projects

What we are looking for: • Tertiary education in any discipline, with at least 5-7 years of experience in building, facilities management or quantity surveying • Self-motivated, highly independent and thrive on working efficiently with multiple stakeholders • A team player with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical skills and attentive to details • Able to multi-task and work under pressure to meet tight timelines • Work experience in facility management, Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) management and/or sustainability management with the required certification will be an added advantage
