Senior Manager / Corporate Strategy & Planning

What the role is

You will be a member of a small but dynamic NParks team under the Corporate Strategy and Planning division, involved in the strategic decision-making and organisational planning processes of NParks.

What you will be working on

The areas of your work span corporate policy and organisational planning with a focus on strategic projects:

  • Develop and implement corporate policies and strategic plans aligned with the Public Service’s policy agenda

  • Coordinate and amend replies to parliamentary questions on matters under NParks’ purview

  • Prepare reports, factsheets and presentations for senior management and the Board

  • Coordinate and staff Ministry-level meetings with NParks-related agenda

  • Plan corporate events to brainstorm as well as cascade key workplans to the rest of the organisation

You will be required to work closely with policy divisions in Ministries to translate their guidance to develop strategic workplans, and internally with colleagues across divisions to coordinate inputs and align them to organisational goals.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • A passionate and driven individual and team player who can work independently and also thrive in collaborative environments

  • Interest in Corporate Strategy & Planning work and the City in a Nature vision

  • Experience in corporate strategy or policy development is advantageous
