What the role is
What you will be working on
- Leading industry and internal projects focused on innovative data application solutions, with a specialization in IoT technologies and other relevant domains.
- Providing expert consultation and proficient development capabilities in data engineering, analytics, and IoT across diverse industries.
- Analysing data technology trends, formulating comprehensive project proposals, and facilitating the implementation of advanced data solutions.
- Initiating and managing project proposals for funding, grants, and sponsorships relevant to data applications, analytics, signal processing, and IoT technologies.
- Leading and coordinating various data-centric and IoT programs for the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
What we are looking for
- Suitable credentials in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics, and software development with a strong emphasis on IoT.
- Advanced proficiency in software development, including languages such as Python, Java, C++ and proficiency in relevant frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong expertise in data engineering, data analytics, statistical analysis, signal processing, and a comprehensive understanding of the IoT ecosystem.
Knowledge of multiple database systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Apache Hadoop) and experience with big data technologies.
- Familiarity or experience in Cloud computing, Linux/Unix, networking technologies, and the integration of IoT data at the backend.
