[Internship 2025] Uplift and strengthen Programme Evaluation capabilities, RSM

What the role is

You will lead and execute the following workstream: 1. Develop and implement an integrated communications strategy to promote and showcase programme evaluation (PE) efforts (a) Develop a simple, coherent, and clear design scheme for all communications materials. (b) Craft design and copy for communication materials, including EDMs, using existing microsite content and other relevant resources. (c) Work with various stakeholders to translate information and content into publicity materials (e.g., EDMs). (d) Plan and execute EDM campaign through interactive channels and content (e.g. quizzes, surveys, games). (e) Curate evaluation case studies and best practices, how-to guides, and FAQs for PE processes. (e) Re-design PE microsite to enhance site navigation, user experience, and content organisation. In addition, you will support the MND PE team on the following workstreams: 2. Coordinate and support evaluation capability building (a) Assist in workshop planning and organisation, including coordinating with participants and trainer, collating and preparing materials, administering and analysing pre-/post- workshop surveys. (b) Assist in organisation of Ministry HQ / Ministry Family-level brown bag sharing sessions, including preparing materials, arranging logistics, setting up venue and coordinating refreshments. 3. Improve efficiency of processes using tech tools (e.g., AI, LLMs, coding, automation) (a) Develop an application (e.g. a chatbot) that accepts text input and helps officers build Theory of Change, set SMART KPIs, improve programme logic and flow, suggest data collection plans, etc. (b) Review and reconfigure evaluation database (i.e. SharePoint list) to improve usability. (c) Liaise with counterparts in other Ministries to gather insight, learn best practices and localise using MND-specific examples. (d) Conduct user tests, and improve the process or application's performance and output quality.

What you will be working on

Through this internship you will learn to: - Understand the importance of programme evaluation in the public service - Apply design principles to communicate ideas in a way that is enjoyable and easy to follow - Develop skills in storyboarding, infographic design, and content curation for publicity materials (e.g., EDMs) - Design and implement effective solutions to encourage higher adoption / acceptance of evaluation practices - Use technology such as AI to develop tools to improve process efficiency and to assist officers with complex tasks - Manage project deliverables and stakeholders

What we are looking for

• Strong visual communication and storytelling abilities. • Digitally savvy with experience in UI/UX, design tools (e.g. Canva), AI and automation technologies. • Good project management capabilities. • Interest in public policy and/or programme evaluation. • Include samples of past content created (e.g., infographics, articles, EDMs, etc.) in your CV. Internship Period Requirements • Period of Internship: Jan to Sep 2025 (minimum commitment of 3 months). • Please indicate your availability in your application and/or if you can commit to a longer duration.
