The job holder handles confirmation, emplacement, contract renewal, and Appraisal and Development Plan (ADP) across MHA. He/She supports the Senior Manager in implementing overall strategic plans for the team, ensuring process efficiency and meeting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and service standards.

What the role is
What you will be working on
Principle accountabilities
• Oversee process and policy reviews to streamline, harmonise, align processes across Home Team
• Work closely with Home Team Departments (HTD), officers and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of confirmation, emplacement, contract renewal and ADPs
• Address officers’ needs in timely and satisfactory manner
• Escalate and communicate risks and issues to management as appropriate
• Ensure KPIs and service standards are met
Process and Policy Review
• Manage the expectations of relevant stakeholders to negotiate, harmonise, streamline, align processes across HTDs
• Champion process and policy reviews on HR matters
• Maintain oversight of processes and suggest process improvements/automation
Confirmation/Emplacement/Contract Renewal
• Plan and process confirmation and emplacement of officers
• Seek approval for extension of probation and contract renewal of officers
Appraisal & Development Plan Administration
• Generate ADP forms as required
• Prepare statistics for periodic reporting to HTDs and/or Senior Management
• Monitor completion status and troubleshoot technical issues for MHA officers
• Actively suggest process improvements where appropriate

• Collaboration with diverse stakeholders and meeting their expectations
• Understand the diverse profiles of the HTDs as well as population groups in order to accurately assess and recommend relevant solutions to meet their needs
• Keep up with changes to HR policies and operating landscape

• Good time management and be able to meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, SAP system, VOICES system and process automation, would be an advantage
