As an officer in the SCERD/Preparedness Team in MTI, you will be part of a dynamic team to design and plan for contingencies, develop security policies and implement the national emergency and peacetime crisis framework so that our economy remains resilient in a crisis.

In this role, you will be responsible to: • Co-ordinate with agencies to collate and analyse data and sense-make on the crisis. • Translate of Ops concept to plans that is easy for the stakeholders to execute. This would include co-ordinating and working with external agencies in developing action plans besides writing SOPs. • Engage stakeholders, including commercial partners, to plan and execute table-top / ground deployment exercises to test the readiness of the resilience plans. • Assess Ops readiness of the sector leads through audits of their Supply Chain Resilience plans. • Lead project teams to explore avenues to improve the processes of current systems to enhance work productivity. • Staffing of national crisis management platforms to facilitate decision making.

• Preferably with interest in security, supply chain and geo-political matters. Those with background in risk management, business continuity management, contingency planning and project management in the energy industry would be useful. • Able to sense-make in a crisis by identifying stakeholders and conceptualise a plan under time pressure. • Able to work independently and motivated to engage stakeholders in operationalising the plan. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a team player. • Able to write and clearly communicate ideas.
