- Overseeing the enforcement team's inspection of both public and private gas installations to verify regulatory compliance.
- Monitoring and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of services to achieve performance targets.
- Leading a team of technical staff, providing guidance and resources to uphold inspection standards and quality.
- Reviewing inspection findings and recommending improvements to mitigate potential risks.
- Leading the branch's development of new regulatory guidelines and technical standards.
- Driving stakeholder engagement sessions, including public consultations, industry workshops, refresher courses and training events on technical requirements, with an emphasis on promoting piped gas safety.
- Reviewing criteria for LSGW and LSGW(R) licence applications and overseeing interview process.
- Monitoring the performance of licensed gas service workers and taking appropriate actions to ensure they fulfil their responsibilities.

Requirements:
Background in Mechanical Engineering, recognised by the Professional Engineers Board in Singapore, alongs with years of relevant experience in the local gas industry.
