1. Lead Manpower Strategies: Drive workforce planning, attraction, and development initiatives to develop skills, competencies, and capabilities to meet the demands of the energy transition, in areas like power generation, renewable energy, transmission and distribution, smart grids and more.
2. Shape the Energy Workforce of Tomorrow: Oversee manpower projections, policies, and planning by leveraging data and insights to align with labour market trends and sectoral needs.
3. Identify Emerging Needs: Pinpoint critical talent gaps and new competencies arising from emerging trends and technologies in the energy sector.
4. Develop Industry Capabilities: Collaborate with industry players and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) to design and implement strategies and programmes that address workforce capabilities and future skills.
5. Impact Policy and Strategy: Influence energy workforce planning and policies to ensure alignment with the nation's energy goals and vision for a sustainable future.
