What the role is

You are responsible for the planning and implementation of training curricula, including the design and development of training curriculum and instructional materials while ensuring the currency of existing training materials to enhance training effectiveness, efficiency and engagement through integration of adult pedagogy and simulation systems.

What you will be working on

- Analyse operational requirements to identify training needs and design comprehensive training solutions - Develop and implement training curricula with appropriate integration of learning technologies - Prepare training materials by analysing the learning environment to understand the context for adult learning - Evaluate training solutions and refine assessment processes by developing assessment activities, processes, tools and criteria to test trainees' competencies - Design and develop customised course assessment plans and coordinate with various schoolhouses for data collection and evidence gathering - Plan Curriculum Transformation workshops and analyse the progress of learning transformation efforts - Monitor trainer development through the Train-the-Trainer Program and SAF Training Development Courses Challenge(s) - Seeking out and forging partnerships internally to drive training and learning transformation while balancing and managing professional expertise vertically with leadership and horizontally with other officers - Serving as a liaison with external agencies to support the larger objective of delivering effective and engaging training - Maintaining currency with industry standards, best practices, and norms on curriculum and instructional design - Keeping abreast of learning technology applications for enhancing curricula

What we are looking for

- Knowledge of adult pedagogy and instructional design principles - Understanding of learning technologies and e-learning techniques - Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
