This is a part-time position as an Associate Lecturer or Associate Trainer for School of Humanities & Interdisciplinary Studies to teach in one or more of these modules: Current Affairs, English Language & Communication, Design Thinking/ Innovation, Interdisciplinary Projects, Psychology and Korean/ French Language.

Candidates should be competent to plan, develop and teach a combination of modules in the following: • Current Affairs • English Language & Communication • Design Thinking/ Innovation • Interdisciplinary Projects • Psychology • Korean/ French Language

A tertiary qualification with at least 3 years of relevant teaching/industry experience in any of these areas: History, Sociology, Political Science, International Relations, Geography, English Language, Global and Contemporary Issues, Urban Planning/Studies, Design, Design Thinking, Innovation, Psychology or related disciplines. Knowledge of project-based learning pedagogy and/or experience in teaching/mentoring students in project work, an ability to guide students through the processes of complex problem solving such as problem identification, research (secondary and primary), ideation and prototyping is an advantage. The ability to teach Korean/French language in addition to the above would be an advantage. You should be able to provide broad perspectives, employ creative pedagogies such as classroom activities and thinking routines to build critical and analytical thinking skills in students, and have a creative multi-disciplinary outlook.
