What the role is

We are looking for service-oriented individuals to join the Operations & Facilities Management Department which oversees the operation and maintenance of Government cemeteries, crematoria and columbaria. You will be stationed at government cemetery office and will play a key role in providing after-death care service.

What you will be working on

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Overall in-charge for burial site operations at the Choa Chu Kang Cemetery
  • Inspection and certification of burial operations, maintenance of burial heavy vehicles
  • Inspect monuments/graves at the Choa Chu Kang Cemetery
  • Carry out enforcement duties
  • Contract management
  • Lead a team to coordinate and plan for traffic, crowd control management during festive seasons
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the rollout of new systems involved after-death services application
  • Attend to public feedback/enquiries
  • Maintain office record/inventory
  • Carry out data analysis and administrative duties
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor

What we are looking for

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in customer service would be an advantage
  • Willing to work in after-death care service environment
  • Tactful, approachable and patient
  • Mature, independent and resourceful
  • Meticulous and ability to multi-task
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Able and willing to work on weekends and public holidays
