The incumbent's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Analyse existing metering data in the billing system, meter data management system, data analytics portal, to support process workflow redesign, including reviewing existing system algorithms, settings, and its relevant impact to metering operations. 2. Maintain code base and dashboards, including providing technical advice on their use. 3. Upgrade existing code base and dashboards, including implementing necessary updates to better support metering operations. 4. Support the establishment of automated workflows, including establishing new data pipelines/flows and scripting. 5. Sharing data management best practices with metering officers (e.g., table structure, datatypes, etc.). 6. Exploring WOG/PUB data tools relevant to metering officers’ work, including conducting demo/tutorial sessions to support their adoption in the Division.

Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Environmental Engineering, with the following skills: 1) Have a strong foundational background in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, etc. 2) Proficient in Python/R. Having knowledge or experience in SQL, Linux, Git, would be a plus. 3) Experience in working with data visualization software, specifically QlikSense.
