What the role is

Support Director in leading division and collaborating with other NCSS divisions to achieve better outcomes for persons who use social services, so that these service users are empowered to live with dignity. This includes the following:

Lead the team to enable delivery of quality and effective services by service providers by implementing standards frameworks and leveraging on funding strategies as well as the use of data to strengthen service capacity and capability of the sector.

Take care of the team members.
Support Service Delivery, Services Group and NCSS.

What you will be working on

Strengthen service capacity and capability by:

•Partnering social service agencies, government agencies and other stakeholders to implement funding allocation, funding models as well as service standards frameworks that will strengthen outcome for service users.
•Collect programme data through IT systems so that insights generated can be used to improve service delivery by all service providers.
•Regularly review grants as well as programme design, management and renewal frameworks and processes so that services remain impactful.

  • Lead and take care of team members so that colleagues can work, learn and have fun together.
  • Support the Div, Services Group and NCSS, as and when required.

Skills Required:

  • Technical and functional knowledge in grant making policy and processes
  • Data analysis (including reading and interpreting financial statements) and impact evaluation
  • Design thinking and service journey mapping
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Planning and project management skills

Experience & Special Certification(s):

At least 10 years working experience with at least 5 years in supervisory capacity. Experience in grant making and impact evaluation.
