What the role is

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) aspires to be a world-class organisation in delivering safety and security for our people. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Executive to join our Professional and Programme Development team within the Home Team Psychology Division (HTPD). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the professional development of Home Team psychologists, managing our volunteer programme, overseeing research service contracts, and contributing to the organisation of key conferences.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities: 1. Professional Development of Home Team Psychologists o Review and update the Learning and Development (L&D) Framework for Home Team psychologists o Facilitate the nomination process for L&D activities o Track and analyse trends in L&D activities undertaken by psychologists o Prepare annual budget papers outlining L&D plans o Design and disseminate communications on L&D matters 2. Volunteer Programme Development and Management o Support the design and development of a new volunteer scheme complementing HTPD's work o Manage administrative matters as the volunteer manager o Plan and organise appreciation activities for volunteers 3. Development and Maintenance of Master Contract for Psychological Research Services o Oversee the creation of a framework agreement for psychological research services for the HT psychological community o Collaborate with representatives from various HT psychological units to craft contract specifications o Work with the central procurement office on tenders to acquire required services o Maintain the master contract and serve as the point of contact for contract utilisation matters 4. Asian Conference of Criminal and Operations Psychology (ACCOP) Support o Serve on the organising committee for ACCOP 2025 o Support logistical and operational matters for the conference o Manage procurement of various conference services o Coordinate with vendors to ensure satisfactory service delivery o Contribute to early planning and preparation for ACCOP 2028 5. Additional duties as assigned by superiors

What we are looking for

• Good bachelor's degree in any discipline • Background in psychology, project management, and/or data analytics/visualisation • Strong task and time management skills • Excellent writing abilities • Proven teamwork skills • Conscientious work ethic Note: this is a contract role.
