You will be responsible for:

• Delivering modules related to environmental education which includes biodiversity of Singapore and nature interpretation through green spaces and cultivating respect and care for the environment.

• Helping students gain awareness, knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviours necessary to understand and address environmental issues so that they will be able to make informed decisions and take responsible actions to sustain the environment for present and future generations.

• Ensuring that lecturers have the necessary skills, knowledge and attitude to promote, deliver and facilitate quality lessons

• Developing and/or delivering Continuing Education and Training (CET) courses when required.

• Qualifications in any field with at least four years of relevant working experience;

• Good written and oral communication and administration skills

• Good time management and organizational skills to complete tasks on time

• Possess the passion for the outdoors, responsible, reliable, independent, pro-active, problem-solving initiative, resourceful and a good team player

• Experienced and competent in using learner-centered methodology to facilitate outdoor adventure and experiential programmes for both youth and adult profile

• Proficient in the following safety and risk management skills:

- Accident and crisis management

- Risk assessment and safety management

• Proficient in the following methods of instruction and facilitation skills:

- Group management skills

- Group facilitation and review skills

- Presentation and lecturing skills

- Programme/game design and lesson planning skills

• Experience in designing and conducting programmes for participants with disabilities, elderly or children will be an advantage.
