What the role is
What you will be working on
Programme Planning and Management:
- Develop and oversee comprehensive learning programmes aligned with sector needs and SSI's strategic goals.
- Optimise resource utilisation, including premises and budget, to ensure cost-effectiveness and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead end-to-end course administration, from pre-course planning to post-course evaluation.
- Regularly review and enhance training administrative processes
Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:
- Foster strong relationships with adult educators, training administrators, and external partners to ensure effective service delivery.
- Manage learner relations, addressing feedback and resolving issues to enhance overall learning experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve administrative policies and procedures.
Financial Management and Compliance:
- Oversee training-related financial matters in accordance with NCSS finance guidelines and funding requirements.
- Manage funding applications and related matters with various bodies (e.g., SkllsFuture Singapore, Early Childhood Development Agency ) to secure necessary resources for SSI programmes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and participate in internal and external audits.
Strategic Initiatives and Reporting:
- Plan and execute ad-hoc events, manage Communities of Practice, and spearhead learning initiatives.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports, audit documentation, and strategic papers.
- Perform secretariat roles for key meetings, including SSI Management and Programme and Learning Services (PLS) team meetings.
Innovation and Technology Integration:
- Explore and implement innovative learning methodologies and technologies to enhance programme delivery and learner engagement.
- Collaborate with IT teams to leverage digital tools for improved programme management and learner experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Strong project management and organisational skills
2, Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
3. Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
4. In-depth knowledge of Continuous Education and Training (CET) operations 5. Financial acumen for budget management and cost analysis
6. Proficiency in relevant software and digital tools
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
8. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in programme management, preferably in CET environment or social services sector
