What the role is

As a Project Manager in Human Resources (HR) Digital Office, HR Solutions and Capabilities Division, you will be responsible for system development and maintenance work, as well as managing the daily operations of the HR’s IT systems. As part of system delivery, you will also manage IT systems integrators to deliver product features and ensure compliance with IT management policy, quality management policy, security policy and standards.

What you will be working on

• Engage stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements, identify and evaluate potential solutions, and develop business case for application projects • Oversee project execution to ensure alignment with business needs and outcomes, as well as adherence to scope, schedule, costs and quality standards • Evaluate and implement appropriate project management methodologies, including Agile practices, while identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes • Evaluate and select vendor solutions, while effectively managing vendor relationships to deliver digital solutions and services • Ensure compliance with IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines throughout all development processes, procedures and systems implementations • Maintain system effectiveness and user experience by working with stakeholders to efficiently address technical matters as they arise

What we are looking for

• Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Human Resource, Business or related discipline • Project Management or Agile related certifications such as CITPM, COMIT or PMI, Certified Scrum Master • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role with vendor management as well as systems support/maintenance in HR Systems • Motivated by innovation to achieve business goals and customer satisfaction • Excellent communication skills across written, verbal, and presentation formats • Good interpersonal skills and strong negotiation abilities • Strong vendor and stakeholder management capabilities • Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills • Prior experience in handling projects involving Agile, Cloud, Design Thinking would be an advantage In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the close of the application window.
