What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of the Transformation Team within MND’s Corporate Development Division and report to the Deputy Director (Transformation).
You will:
- Lead a team reshaping MND’s employee experience, considering the evolving operating context for the Ministry and its changing workforce profile, industry best practices, organisation development strategies and design thinking.
- Work with consultants and stakeholders to re-design MND’s work environment to be flexible, empowering and collaborative. This will include enhancements to our physical infrastructure and exploring the use of digital tools to enhance officers’ productivity.
- Design and implement new initiatives to facilitate the growth and development of MND officers, as well as strengthen support for staff well-being. This will include putting structures in place to better understand the needs of officers and deliver targeted interventions.
What we are looking for
We are looking for individuals who are open to new ways of thinking and willing to push boundaries, and are passionate about creating a positive and enjoyable workplace experience.
You should preferably possess:
- At least 4 to 6 years of work experience in policy/project management or the organisation transformation/innovation space.
- Strong team player with the ability to think strategically and analyse multiple sources of information to derive insights for strategy formulation.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills, as well as the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders across various levels.
Competencies Required:
- Ability to implement, monitor and ensure the execution of all aspects of a project, strategically using available resources to achieve objectives in an efficacious manner, anticipate potential risks and put in place mitigation measures.
- Ability to think beyond department or agency lines and form effective partnerships within and across agencies.
- Ability to adapt and adjust engagement strategies to garner stakeholder support, while galvanizing positive perception of development projects.
