Project Title: SG Cyber Talent This internship will focus on supporting EDD’s national initiative called SG Cyber Talent through the development of its Capture the Flag (CTF) platform and challenges that is used as part of its engagement activities. SG Cyber Talent aims to nurture talented cybersecurity enthusiasts from a young age and help cybersecurity professionals deepen their skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating our Capture the Flag (CTF) platform and challenges, ensuring that it is running smoothly and providing an engaging experience for participants.

The intern will be working on the development of the current Capture the Flag (CTF) platform and challenges to improve its capabilities to support the SG Cyber Talent engagement activities. The intern will be responsible for all stages in the development lifecycle and the deployment of it when required during the engagement activities. These responsibilities include (but not limited to): 1. Maintain and update the CTF platform, ensure that it is running smoothly and free from technical issues. 2. Work with the development team to implement new features and functionality on the platform. 3. Monitor the platform during CTF events to ensure that it is performing as expected and troubleshoot any issues that arise. 4. Provide technical support to participants during CTF events. 5. Develop and maintain documentation for the CTF platform, including user guides and technical specifications. 6. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in CTF platforms and cybersecurity tools and techniques. Tasks you can expect (but not limited to) includes: 1. Migration of Telegram bot to Cloud 2. Continual DevOps cycle of the Telegram bot 3. Creating and deploying programs/applications to assist with Events. 4. Assisting in Carrying out of Events a. Youth Cyber Exploration Programme b. Outreach Events etc. 5. Data cleaning and preparation 6. Designing of EDMs and slides for Events This internship position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maintaining and updating a CTF platform and its challenges, as well as exposure to the latest developments in cybersecurity. Applicants who are: • Able to commit minimally 6 months • Familiar with Python • Familiar with HTML/CSS/JS • Familiar with Microsoft office products (e.g. PowerPoint and Excel) • Comfortable with Figma/illustrator/Photoshop • Experience with AWS Cloud services • Familiar with Docker • Familiar with the use of Web and Database APIs • Familiar with cybersecurity concepts
