What the role is

Project Title: Horizon scanning, analysis and technology exploration for standards development and disruptive technologies. This internship project spans these tech areas: • Connected vehicles • Deep fakes evaluation and benchmarking • Blockchain and DLT threat intelligence Hence, there are 4 internship slots for this internship project. The successful candidate will formulate guidance for disruptive technologies and provide recommendations to mitigate the risks related to the adoption of such technologies.

What you will be working on

• Performing horizon scans and formulating tech advisories/policies for emerging technologies, assessing their implications on Singapore and the cybersecurity ecosystem. • Performing technology exploration for disruptive technologies (e.g. deepfakes, connected vehicles, vehicle charging stations, smart grids, generative AI, blockchain) and identify insights that lead to recommendations which mitigate the risks related to the adoption of such technologies.

What we are looking for

• Able to minimally commit 3 months • Analytical and self-starter with the ability to keep pace with disruptive technologies (e.g. deepfakes, connected vehicles, vehicle charging stations, smart grids, generative AI, blockchain). • Keen interest in cybersecurity strategy development, planning, policy development and/or standards development. • Subject knowledge in the field of cybersecurity is preferred. • Good communication, writing and presentation skills.
