This role focuses on nurturing and developing students, both youths and adult learners, in the field of computing. It offers opportunities to create and enhance curriculum, conduct lessons, and manage administrative tasks related to teaching and strategic initiatives within the school or institution.

What you will be working on

Responsibilities:-

1. Teaching and Learning Facilitation:

  • Conduct lessons for both youths and adult learners, delivering engaging and effective education in computing.

  • Facilitate learning experiences that promote critical thinking and practical skills in computing.

2. Stay Current in Computing Trends:

  • Continuously update and expand knowledge in the computing field to align with industry trends and advancements.

3. Strategic Initiatives and Project Leadership:

  • Lead and contribute to committees and projects that support the school’s strategic goals.

  • Oversee initiatives such as process improvement projects and the development of new courses or programs.

4. Support Curriculum and Capability Development Division:

  • Coordinate hiring processes to ensure the division is staffed with qualified professionals.

  • Manage staff capability development, identifying opportunities for training and professional growth.

  • Oversee teaching allocation to optimize resources and workload distribution.

  • Conduct curricular research and prepare proposals for curriculum enhancements and new initiatives.

What we are looking for

Requirements:-

  • A strong background in computing, with relevant academic or industry experience.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and collaborate on strategic initiatives.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for handling administrative responsibilities.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of developments in the field of computing.

  • Experience in teaching or training youths and adults in a similar educational environment will be advantageous.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
