You will be in charge of the Support Unit’s key deliverables by managing the Unit’s manpower and upkeep of equipment, to ensure the successful staging of events attended by senior Political Office Holders. The critical function of your job is to ensure the seamless provision of technical support including onsite and offsite audio and visual advice for public speaking engagements involving senior POHs. Your day-to-day operations include planning for the timely delivery and set-up of state lecterns and tele-prompters, lighting, visual and audio equipment and furniture for the event. You will interact with multiple stakeholders, including event organisers as well as third-party movers and internal stakeholders.

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Plan and allocate manpower to staff events attended by senior Political Office Holders.
• Ensure that the state lecterns, AV system and other equipment, such as the teleprompter system, are fully operational, well-maintained and in good working condition.
• Troubleshoot any technical problems with the state lectern and related equipment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely logistical coordination of delivery and pick-up of state lecterns for the POHes’ events.
• Develop and execute project plans, timelines and budgets – including the procurement of audio/visual equipment and fittings – in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain all MDDI safety and security policies and SOPs relating to the MDDI vehicle, state lecterns and autocue system.
What we are looking for
• At least four years’ working experience in event management in corporate events, conferences and large-scale productions
• Able to operate audio-visual equipment
• Physically fit
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Intermediate IT knowledge and technical skills
• Valid Class 3 licence with good driving record
• Team player and meticulous
• Ability to remain calm and solutions-oriented under pressure
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to manage multiple stakeholders
