What the role is

The Anti-Money Laundering / Countering the Financing of Terrorism Division (ACD) is responsible for the implementation of the anti-money laundering / countering the financing of terrorism/ countering proliferation financing (AML/CFT/CPF) regulatory regime for sectors regulated by the Ministry of Law (MinLaw), namely the precious stones and precious metals dealers (PSMDs), law practice entities, pawnbrokers and moneylenders. What the role is: You will be part of a dynamic team involved in registration matters and system development/ maintenance for the PSMDs sector.

We are looking for team players with: - Interest in AML/CFT/CPF - Strong analytical skills and an eye for details - A proactive attitude that takes ownership of the work given and can respond flexibly to rapidly changing situations or requirements - Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to connect with regulated entities and other stakeholders - Ability to work independently and within a team environment to meet deadlines * Key required competencies* [Processing Cases]: Ensure that each step in the case management process is carried out with professionalism and integrity. [Leverage on Technology]: Keep up to date on technological trends relevant to my work. Adopt relevant technology-enabled solutions to address current and future challenges. [Using Data Effectively and Meaningfully]: Monitor and analyse qualitative and quantitative date to better understand members of public and businesses (e.g. motivations of their behaviours). Use insights from data to guide decision-making for better deployment of resources. Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year contract in the first instance. #LI-SW1
