What the role is

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Communications professional to join our division in the Public Transport Council (PTC). The Corporate Communications team supports announcements and campaigns across divisions. This also includes engaging and collaborating with colleagues from the land transport family, and other stakeholders.

What you will be working on

Your responsibilities include: • Developing communication strategies, engagement plans and collaterals to support the strategic initiatives of the PTC. This includes media relations, marketing communications, social media, and covering of events off-site, and at times, after office hours. • As part of this role, you will be required to manage, post and maintain content on all PTC-owned digital media platforms, including the website. • Executing PTC’s communications strategy and developing media materials and in-house content in support of the strategy. Liaising with PTC-appointed agencies to oversee quality, project milestones and other related logistics related to online and offline publicity. • Assisting in communication efforts to support the Caring SG Commuters Movement, including media relations, website management, and social media management. • Monitoring and analysing data and traffic, monitoring ground sentiments and online comments and feedback, and recommending responses where required. Collating/producing media coverage, social media and sentiments reports. Proposing and executing (where applicable) strategies to address these concerns. • Assisting in PTC’s feedback management and ensure that PTC’s quality service management policies align with Whole-of-Government requirements. • Assisting with corporate events, including corporate visits and media conferences. This includes but is not limited to logistics, photography and preparation of corporate materials.

What we are looking for

Requirements: • Relevant qualifications in Journalism, Mass Communications, English or any related discipline, as well as about 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. • Experience in media relations, marketing, social media, and/or website management and revamp(s) will be considered favourably. • Self-motivated and able to work independently. • Strong command of spoken and written English, and a second language (Chinese/Malay/Tamil) • Strong project and agency management skills.
